Broiler Lighting
Lighting That Supports Growth, Distribution and Flock Calmness
A broiler house is all about balance between activity and rest. Chicks need to find feed and water quickly at the start, while older birds need a calm, uniform environment that supports steady growth through the flock cycle.
With good broiler lighting, birds spread more evenly through the house, move to feed and water at the right moments and settle calmly as they grow. That means better flock management, more stable behaviour and a house that is easier to control day after day.
In broiler houses, lighting has two main jobs. First, it supports early activity, orientation and feeding behaviour. Second, it helps manage calmness, distribution and daily rhythm as the birds become heavier.
Ceiling Lights
General house lighting is the foundation of broiler lighting. It supports brooding, feeding activity, drinking behaviour, bird distribution and rest. In broilers, the right balance is important because too little activity can limit movement to feed and water, while too much activity can create unnecessary stress later in the cycle.
DOME Basic 3000K
Dome Basic 3000K is the reliable base layer for broiler lighting. It provides strong, uniform white light across the house and is built for the conditions of a working barn.
The wide beam angle helps create an even light distribution, reducing dark spots and supporting a more uniform spread of birds. Combined with the EPU-1500 dimmer controller, the luminaires are fully dimmable and flicker-free.
For the farmer, Dome Basic is a practical and robust white-light solution. It gives clear visibility, steady dimming and dependable performance throughout the flock cycle, without adding unnecessary complexity.
Dome Pro Junlite
Dome Pro Junglite adds an age-based spectrum tool to the broiler house. It uses the same fixture and fitting as Dome Basic, but follows a fixed dimming curve that moves from white light into the Junglite recipe.
The curve runs from Jungle Green in the brooding phase to Jungle Sky as the flock grows. Jungle Green is a red-and-green-rich spectrum that supports early orientation and helps chicks find feed and water. Jungle Sky shifts toward a green-and-blue spectrum that is linked to calmer behaviour in older birds.
For the farmer, Dome Pro Junglite is more than a standard lamp. It gives a simple way to use spectrum as part of daily broiler management, supporting early activity when chicks need it and calmer behaviour as the flock becomes heavier.
TULEX HO Basic 3000K
Tulex HO Basic 3000K is a plug-and-play, high-output LED system for broiler houses that need strong, uniform general lighting over longer runs. It runs on 48V, where Dome runs on 230V, and the connector-based design keeps installation and maintenance straightforward.
For broiler houses with longer spans, higher ceilings or layouts where linear lighting gives better distribution than individual Dome fixtures, Tulex HO Basic provides a bright, even 3000K base layer. It helps reduce dark spots and supports clear visibility for daily management.
For the farmer, it is a practical fit for both new builds and retrofit projects: robust, uniform light across the house, easy servicing and a straightforward white-light solution when dynamic spectrum control is not required.
NatureDynamics: Dynamic Light for the Whole Flock Cycle
NatureDynamics is our high-end, connected lighting system. It is not a single lamp, but a platform: spectrally tunable luminaires, a wireless gateway, the Interact Agriculture app, zoning and research-based lighting recipes, all working together.
For broiler houses, NatureDynamics uses the NatureDynamics Dome for Broilers luminaire, with a tunable spectrum of red, green and blue. Luminaires connect to a gateway over a wireless mesh network and can be grouped into zones, each running its own recipe.
That makes NatureDynamics valuable in broiler houses where the farmer wants more control than simple dimming. Light can be adjusted by time of day, flock age and management goal. The system can support early activity when chicks need to find feed and water, and calmer light when the flock needs to rest and grow.
For the farmer, this means one connected system that can support bird distribution, feeding behaviour, activity management and flock calmness throughout the cycle. Instead of only switching the whole house up and down, NatureDynamics gives more control over how light is used as a management tool.
On hot days, recipes can also shift intensity and spectrum through the day to help manage the flock’s activity level, encouraging birds to move to feed and water at the right moments without pushing unnecessary activity during the warmest parts of the day.
